It is with sad hearts that the family of Jessie Marie
(Moore) Yerxa of Scotch Lake, NB, announce her passing on Thursday,
December 10, 2020 at her residence. She was 88. Born in Mactaquac NB,
on June 10, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Lavina
(Kitchen) Moore. We are heartbroken she is gone, but take comfort that
she is with the love of her life her late husband Wm. Donald
Yerxa
Anglican by faith,
Jessie was a homemaker and an avid quilter involved in various
quilting guilds.
Jessie is survived
by her children, Georgie (Brian), Donna (Bob), Jennie and Shawn
(Heidi); grandchildren, Maggie Drube, Bobby John Donald Yerxa-
Gemmell, Shawn Yerxa-Gemmell (Mikallya), Nicholas Yerxa and Lily
Yerxa; great grandson Jameson Yerxa Gemmell, sisters, Carole Cantle
and Harriet (Harding) Stairs; sisters-in-law, Ethel Godsoe and Mocelia
Yerxa; extra kids, John (Lisa) Harding, Angela Weiner, Barry (Hanna)
Ashford, Pauline (Keith) Newman; many nieces, nephews and cousins, as
well as being a foster mother to over 52 infant children over the
years.
Besides her parents
and husband, she was predeceased by a son in law Doug, sisters Ruby,
Maxine and Nellie, brothers Clarence and
Floyd.
Due to the
pandemic, there will be no visitation or service. Interment will be
held at a later date in the Scotch Settlement Cemetery. In lieu of
flowers, memorials to the Scotch Lake Cemetery or to a favorite
charity of your choice would be appreciated by the
family.
