Obituary of Jennie Elizabeth Cousineau
COUSINEAU, Jennie Elizabeth
Passed away quietly in her sleep, at Fairmount Home in Glenburnie, on Easter Sunday morning, April 12, 2020. Jennie (nee Webb), in her 102nd year, beloved wife of John Cousineau who predeceased her in 2008. A life-long resident of Sunbury, Jennie was the only daughter of the late George and Edna Webb. Loving mother of Nadene (Dalton) Arthur, Linda (late Larry) Garrett, Shirley (James) O’Neil and Marilyn (Thomas) Nolan. Lovingly remembered by 9 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Jennie is survived by her brothers, Glenn (Zelda) and Burton (Beulah). Predeceased by brothers Ralph (Peggy), Clifford (Gladys), Harold (Rita), Herman (late Edith). She will be also remembered by her nieces and nephews.
In recognition of our current health crisis, Jennie’s family will gather in private at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, on Wednesday, April 15, 2020, with Rev. Heather McLurg-Murphy officiating. Interment will follow at Cataraqui Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Jennie may be made to Fairmount Home or Battersea United Church.
