Jeanette Doris Bieler
September 03, 1930 – December 08, 2020

September 3, 1930 (Kitchener) – December 8, 2020 (Burlington)
Our dearly loved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt, Sister and Friend passed away peacefully with family by her side, after a life well lived.
She was the beloved wife of the late Paul Bieler (2010), married October 11, 1952. She was the mother of David (Orly) Bieler of Calgary, Paulette Bieler of London and Joanne Bieler (Barry Penney) of Mississauga.
Jeanette had 7 grandchildren, Patrick Bieler, Paula Bieler, Julie Dickison, Aimie Dickison, Erin Skinner (Ian), Jeffrey Dickison (Bonnie) and Alyssa Overy. She also had 5 great grandchildren: Samuel, Wesley, Lukas, Beatrice and Cameron.
Family, friends and our Lord were at the foundation of everything Jeanette valued. She was an authentic people-person and wherever she lived, from Canada to International, she developed many life-long friendships.
Jeanette’s Christian Faith and church family were a huge component of her life and she served many years as the church secretary at Grace Lutheran Church in Oakville, followed by many volunteer positions, including the Braille Centre.
She was a giver in every sense of the word and consistently put others before her own needs. She was a woman of honour who lived life with enthusiasm and enjoyed entertaining, singing, playing bridge and gardening. Overall she was happiest when serving and loving others, always making each person she encountered feel as though ‘they’ were the ‘only ones that mattered in that moment’. She only ever saw the good in people…the eternal optimist.
Jeanette was always a very supportive wife to her husband’s career choices, which included 31 years with Bell Canada and moving to Saudi Arabia for a Bell assignment. When it came time to retire, they enjoyed 10 wonderful years in their winter home in Valrico, Florida, again quickly integrating into the hearts of many there.
To say that there will be a significant void in our lives is an understatement, but she will be forever remembered in our hearts. Her consistent reassurance of, “God loves you and so do I”, will be forever ringing in our ears.
Thank you to all her wonderful Care-givers and the Life Enrichment Team at Creek Way Village in Burlington where she resided for the past 6 years; so many of you will be remembered fondly as people who became part of her extended family. Thank you so much for the love and support you showed our mother.
A Celebration of Life service will be announced in the New Year. Until then, we kindly ask you to please sign Jeanette’s Memory Page and we’d love for you to share your memories as well. We will cherish your comments along with the unending memories of our Beloved.
If desired, remembrances to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Jeanette Doris Bieler September 03 1930 December 08 2020..
