Passed peacefully away with her daughter, Andrea by her side on Thurday, November 26, 2020 at Agnes Pratt Nursing Home. Jean M. Pinhey, age 94 years. Predeceased by her parents James and Minnie Hirtle; Husband Tom; brother Teddy and infant daughter Sherri. Leaving to mourn with loving memories her children Andrea (Bill), Mark (Kim) and Brian (Ashley); grandchildren Mike, Katie, Nic, Cory, Candice, Jeremy, Adam and Josh; great granddaughter Aurora, as well as other relatives and friends. A heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff on Pratt Place, Agnes Pratt for their care and kindness.
Jean was an avid reader; she loved to knit and loved her dogs Aimee and Ringalo dearly. Jean worked at StenPro in Liverpool, NS as well as Milton Elementary and Liverpool Regional High. She was a member of ACW with the Trinity Anglican Church in Liverpool and as well the Anglican Church in Lantz, NS. She was hardworking and devoted to her family, she will be missed by all.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation from Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Monday, November 30, 2020 from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heavenly Creatures Animal Rescue, St. John’s, NL
