Jean “Guy” Gilbert Bonnamour
Guy Bonnamour, resident of Girouxville, AB, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2020, at Sacred Heart Community Health Centre in McLennan, AB, at the age of 79 years.
Guy was born on May 1, 1941, in McLennan, AB. He was raised on the farm northeast of Girouxville. He worked as a grain farmer, drilling consultant and was a family man. He loved to garden. Guy had natural musical talent, as he was able to play any instrument he picked up, but his favourite was the guitar.
He was a happy-go-lucky person and always treated others with fairness and respect. He was looked upon by his peers as a gentleman.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Madeleine; children: Doreen, Bryan (Julie) and Paul; brother Gerard; grandchildren: Stefanie, Ryan, Bree, and Olivia; great-grandchildren: Mia, Alexa and Brooklyn; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
Guy was predeceased by his son Donald; parents Jean and Eva; brothers Gilbert and George (Leontine); sister Marguerite (Roland) Henley; and sister in-law Irene (Gerard).
A service will be announced at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke of Alberta (5241 Calgary Trail NW, Calgary, AB, T6H 5G8).
