Henson, Jazmin Faith (nee Ayotte)
On Friday, May 1st at the age of 22, Jazmin received her heavenly healing and went home to be with Jesus. She passed peacefully in the loving arms of her family and closest friends. Jazmin’s rock solid faith in God and her strength, perseverance and optimism during her six year battle with adrenal cancer was an inspiration to many who loved her and prayed for her. Jazmin was a brave fighter and a true overcomer; she was a light for Christ. She grew up spending summers and weekends at her family camp on Onaping Lake and later spent summers as a camper and counsellor at Aush-Bik-Koong Bible Camp. Jazmin was an honor roll student at Marymount Academy. She was a great hockey player, a beautiful singer and a talented artist. Jazmin was passionate about her relationships with family and friends. In August of 2017 Jazmin married her soulmate Eythan Henson. Eythan and his family have been a tremendous support and blessing to Jazmin and her family. Jazmin had a very special bond with her older sister Vangie Ayotte whom she looked up to and adored. She was inseparable from her best friends Emily Loewen (nee Pasivirta) and Serena Reimer (nee Luttrell). The girls grew up together and shared every memory and milestone. Sweet beautiful Jazmin will be very missed, never forgotten and always loved by her parents Aaron and Sherie Ayotte (nee Bjorkman), grandparents Serge and Tuula Ayotte (nee Koskiniemi), grandparents David and Vangie Bjorkman (nee Francis, predeceased), Claudette Bjorkman (nee Gauvin), inlaws Vance and Cindy Henson (nee Seaton) along with many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Jazmin lived life with integrity, courage, faith and love. Her testimony is one in which God is well pleased.
