Obituary of Janet Day
At Braemar Nursing Home on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, Janet (née King) Day of Wingham passed away at the age of 97.
Beloved wife of the late John “Duke” Day who predeceased her in 2011. Loving mom of Jane Day and cherished grandma of J.J. Day both of Wingham. Dear aunt of Wayne Douglas & Janette McClean of Wingham, Bill & Tammy King of Brussels and Karla & Darryl Button of California. Janet will be lovingly remembered by Raymond and Jaqueline Gowdy and family of Wingham. Predeceased by her parents William & Lillian (née McCall) King, brother Bill King (Joanne), sister Marie Douglas (Carl) and parents-in-law George & Ethel Day.
Private arrangements have been entrusted to McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Pet Rescue, Lucknow would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
