MARTIN, James “Jim” Wright
Jim Martin died unexpectedly after back surgery on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at North Bay Regional Health Centre. He was in his 69th year. Jim is survived by his partner Christine Brooks of Port Loring; his children Mark (Melanie) of Callander, Michael of Sudbury; his step-children Brady Brooks (Sandi) of Guelph, and Rebecca Brooks of Port Loring; grandchildren Austen (Kristina), Connor, Rayah, Carter, Haley, Landon and Remington; one great-grandchild Mateo; and his siblings Bill Martin of Golden Valley, Jack Martin of Port Loring, Sharon Bush of North Bay, Debbie Lamb of Commanda, and step-sisters Karen Culin and Robbie Steele of North Bay. He was predeceased by his parents James and Zeta Martin, step-mother Enna Martin, brother Robert ‘Bob’ Martin, and step-sisters Sylvia Brown and Janet Steele. Jim was a well known general contractor in the Argyle area and enjoyed living on Wilson Lake. Immediate cremation will take place with no service to follow.
