RUTH CECILE JAMES, beloved wife of Jack James, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at the St. Michael’s Health Centre – Palliative Care Unit with family by her side, on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at the age of 83 years.
Besides her loving husband of 65 years, Ruth is survived by her seven children: Wendy James, Karen (Fred) Hawkins, Pamela (Brian) Fuller, Darcie James, Connie (Lanny) Quintin, Doug (Tracy) James and Barb (Peter) James-McCallum. She was also deeply loved by her 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, as well as her three siblings Betty (Harpo-deceased) Moriyama, Pat (Harold) Adair and Gene (Betty-Ann) Stauffer.
Ruth was predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, June & Jim Kulka.
As per Ruth’s wishes, a Private Family Service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ruth’s memory to the St. Michael’s Health Centre – Palliative Care Unit, 1400 9th Avenue South, Lethbridge, Alberta, T1J 4V5.
