On June 2, 2020, Mr. James Hays of Ashmont passed away at the age of 58 years. He is survived by his loving mother, Jean Hays; sister, Heather Syrnyk; brother, Darren (Stacey); brother-in-law, Doug Houlden; nieces & nephews, Shannon (Randy) Quinney, Sheldon (Melissa) Weinmeier, Kayla DeGroot, Tia Rae Houlden, Shayla Hilliard, Bronwyn Hays, Evan Hays & Shalise (John) Jespersen; great-nieces & nephews, Kieran Quinney, Hadley & Parker Weinmeier, Rylyn & Ryker Quinney-Crane; 2 uncles, Doug Hays & Tom (Phyllis) Gray; aunt, Sandra (Harold) Richardson. James was predeceased by his father, Glen; sister, Kimberly Houlden; paternal grandparents, Doug & Olive; maternal grandparents, Earl & Marian Gray; uncle, Garth Gray. A Private Memorial Service will be held at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul with Pastor Kelly Sibley officiating. Cremation has taken place.
