Jacqueline Doris Dusome Friday April 17th 2020 avis de deces

Jacqueline Doris Dusome (Milner)
September 28, 1935 – April 17, 2020
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jacqueline, loving wife, mother, and sister, who passed away peacefully at Beacon Hill Lodge Retirement Home into the arms of her lost loved ones.
Jacqueline is pre-deceased by her mother and father, John and Ruth Milner, her first husband Steven Albert Dusome and second husband Albert Kobs as well as her son Allen Dusome, son-in-law Joseph Belanger, sister Mable Desjardins and brother Edward Milner.
Jacqueline will be lovingly remembered by daughters Elizabeth (Betty) Lamoureux (Amos), Cindy Belanger, Susan Dusome (Cam), and daughter-in-law Cheryl Dusome. She also leaves to mourn her grandchildren; Steven, Kenneth, Shelly, Christopher, LeeAnn, Blake and Myles as well as 9 great grandchildren.
Jacqueline was born in Winnipeg, until her teenage years when she moved to Ontario where she met the love of her life and our father Steven Albert Dusome. They returned back to Winnipeg in 1971 They remained married until he passed away in 1977. She later married second husband Albert Kobs.
Mom is most fondly remembered by her fiery red hair and firecracker personality. As her favorite cousin Doug Jones so eloquently put it “she was indeed a 4-foot firecracker”. Mom always enjoyed a good party and she was an active member of the 141 Royal Canadian Legion where she enjoyed playing bingo with friends and family .
She will be missed by all the friends she made over the years, and the family,s she left behind in Ontario and Winnipeg.
She was very well liked by all who knew her.
Sadly, her pain became unmanageable and she was recently moved to Beacon Hill Lodge Retirement Home. The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Beacon Hill, particularly Maria and Carlos who went above and beyond to help her out in the short time she was there. We would also like to thank Mosaic Funeral home for helping us so professionally and sympathetically during the middle of a pandemic.
Momma, we wanted so badly to be there and hold your hand at the end, but it was not to be. We know you were escorted safely through the gates of heaven by Dad and Allen and all the loved ones gone before. Rest in Peace mom you will be forever missed and loved.
As per Jacqueline’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be announced once it is safe to gather again.
