Ivy Tabor
1924-2020
It is with great sadness the family of Ivy Tabor of the Grass
Care Home announces her passing at The Moncton Hospital on April 29,
2020 after a brief illness. Born 1924 in Caergwrle, Wales (UK) she was
the daughter of the late Richard and Phyllis (Jones) Lewis.
Ivy immigrated to Canada with her family and settled in Springhill,
NS.
A beloved wife and mother, she is remembered lovingly for her
kindness and compassion, for her devotion to family and loyalty to
friends.
Ivy will be dearly missed by her daughters Dianne (Dean)
Johnston, Libby (Brian) Hall, four grandchildren, Sherry (Brad)
Crawford, Jeff Johnston, Jamie (Melanie Guitard) Hall, Peter (Chelsea)
Hall, four greatgrandchildren, Kayden Crawford, Jayden Colette, Parker
and Myles Hall, and several nieces and a nephew. She will forever in
our hearts.
Besides her parents Ivy she was predeceased by her husband
Douglas and a sister Molly Wilson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of
the donor’s choice. A graveside service will be
held at the Hillside Cemetery, Springhill, Nova Scotia at a later
date.
