Isabelle M. Harnum (nee Sooley)
June 1, 1939 – August 8, 2020
Passed peacefully away at her residence with her daughter Trudy by her side on Saturday, August 8, 2020, Isabelle Harnum of Whiteway, aged 81 years.
Predeceased by her husband, Robert (2006); son, Leonard (2018); parents, Sydney J. and Eliza Ann Sooley; 8 brothers and 2 sisters.
Left with many fond and loving memories are her daughters, Donna (Carl) March and Trudy (Jeff) Coates; her grandchildren, Michelle (Chris), Stacey (John), Felicia (Mark), Megan (Cory), Brad, and Amanda; her great-grandchildren whom she treasured, Jordan, Somer, Joshua, Liam, Elizabeth, Emmalee, Charlee, Claire, Carter, Cayden, Bentley, and Zoey; sisters, Shirley (Mac) and Betty (Philip); brother, Andrew (Mildred); sisters-in-law, Loretta and Shirley; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and a large circle of friends.
Due to restrictions of Covid-19 there will be a private visitation.
A service of celebration for Isabelle’s life will be held on Tuesday, August 11 at 2:00 pm from the Church of the Epiphany, Heart’s Delight-Islington with interment to follow at St. George the Martyr Anglican Cemetery, Whiteway. There will be a 50 person limit and social distancing practices must be followed.
No flowers by request. Donations in Isabelle’s memory may be made to the Janeway Children’s Hospital (janewayfoundation.nf.ca).
