COVID-19 Response – Important Information
As we continue to navigate these very difficult times resulting from
the rise of the COVID-19 virus, we want you to know that we are, and
will remain available to serve you but we are also very concerned for
your safety.
As a result we are heeding the precautions we have all received from
our health authorities as well as strict guidelines set out by the
Bereavement Authority of Ontario, the regulatory body for funeral
service providers. As of March 28, 2020 the maximum number of people
now allowed at a service/visitation is 10.
Some simple guidelines to follow if you do choose to attend a funeral
or any gathering:
• Please observe the sanitary practices our health experts have
provided.
• Practice social distancing.
• Avoid handshakes and hugs.
• If you are not feeling well, please be considerate and do not
leave home.
• Consider expressing comfort from a distance with cards or a
condolence note on our website.
If you have recently travelled outside of Canada and have not
completed the mandatory 14-day period of self-isolation, we ask that
you do not come to the funeral home.
From the moment we opened the doors in 1987, we at Corbett Funeral
Home have taken pride in knowing our business was built on one simple
idea; “We Care”. That will never change regardless of how
current conditions may temporarily alter our traditional methods of
mourning. If you have suffered a loss, call us … we are here to
help. Steve Parker- Owner and Managing Director
