Ida immigrated to Canada in her early teens. From etiquette lessons in Denmark to Saskatchewan farming, where she learned to be the best farmer around. Loving wife of 71 years to Clary Gatien. Loving mother of Brian (Darlene Devon predeceased), Vicki Kaminski, Sharon (Jim Dinnes), Wayne (Roxie Wellings predeceased), Bev Ferguson, Rene (Laurie Jennings), Dean (Kelli Edmunds), Lynn, and Joan (Scott Ingraham). Cherished grandmother of David, Michelle, Chris, Johanna, Luc, Courtney, Krista, Donna, Tracy, Geoffrey, Sarah, Rhonda, Ashley, Nicholas, Bradley, Breanne, Eric, Michael, Matthew, Colleen, Hannah, Tonya, and Bryce, and 24 great grandchildren – and still expanding!
