Hugh W. Walford
Hugh W. Walford, 88, of MacDougall
Settlement, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on
Saturday, July 11, 2020, with his family by his side. Born in
Victoria, BC. He was the son of the late Leslie and Annie (Pierce)
Walford. Hugh was a retired Civil Engineer. Hugh attended St. Georges
Anglican Church, and enjoyed woodworking, gardening, drawing and
reading.
Hugh is survived by his children
Leslie Walford (Dale), Cynthia Johnson (Chris), Timothy Walford
(Angela) and Teresa Buell; many grandchildren and great grandchildren;
and a sister, Marguerite Rae.
In addition to his parents, he was
predeceased by his wife, Glenna “Ruth” Walford; and sisters
Joanne Morgan, Betty McLeod and Pat Hoffman.
A private family committal service
lead by Rev. Canon Chris VanBuskirk was held at Scotch Settlement
Cemetery, Scotch Settlement, NB.
