Moncton, NB – Huberte Rossignol, 72, passed away peacefully at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, and surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, November 2, 2020.
Born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, NB, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Eugère Cormier and the late Bernice Cormier (nee Robichaud).
Huberte will be sadly missed by her children, Luc Rossignol and Paryse Rossignol (Marc-André LeBlanc) both of Moncton; her siblings, André Cormier of Dieppe and Jean-Albert Cormier (Maria) of Haute-Aboujagane and Danielle Cormier (Rodrigue Melanson) of Dieppe; the father of her children, Michel Rossignol of Moncton; also by several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A career nurse, Huberte obtained her nursing diploma from the Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital in 1971. She also continued her studies and obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 1994. Huberte was very passionate about reading and music. She also enjoyed the exchange of ideas in the areas of philosophy and spirituality.
Respecting Huberte’s wishes, there will be no visitation and funeral service. A celebration of her life with immediate family will take place at a later date.
In memory of Huberte, a donation can be made to a charity of your choice.

  1. Condolences to Huberte’s family
    In the early ‘70, I worked with Hubert at QueenMary Hospital in Montreal. She was a good friend , a beautiful person.

    I am sad to know that she passed away . I will continue to think of her fondly.
