1936 – 2020
I, Darlene, would like to announce the sudden passing of my husband, Ron, on Saturday, January 11, 2020. He was the love of my life and the very best partner this girl could’ve ever had.
Ron’s life was a life well-lived. He was a man that was passionate about many things, and so very proud of his son, Randy. Most of Ron’s working life was as a Pharmacist and Pharmacy Marketing Manager for Calgary Co-op Association. He loved his work—but let’s not forget his golf. Ron was an intrepid traveler and we were so lucky to see many parts of the world together.
He was quick to smile and always whistling. He had a quick wit and loved to tease us all. With Ron around, there weren’t many dull moments.
He is mourned by his wife, Darlene, his buddy, Heidi, his son, Randy, his first wife, Ulla, his sister, Daun, his sister-in-law, Diane (Ruben), his brother-in-law, Dan (Maryanne), his nieces and nephews, Tim, Greg, Angela, and Adam, as well as many cousins.
