Hilda’s Obituary
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear loved one while surrounded by her husband and family, at her home in Riverhead, St. Mary’s Bay, Hilda Ann Fagan, aged 52 years. Predeceased by her father Sebastian Power and step-father Valentine O’Rourke. Leaving to mourn her loving husband of 35 years, Anthony, son Sebastian (Shayla), daughter Victoria, her precious grandchildren whom she loved dearly Cody and Kylan, mom Annie O’Rourke and parents Wayne & Trula Thompson, brothers and sisters of the Power family and her brother Dion Thompson (Carla), parents-in-law Joseph & Mary Fagan, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law of the Fagan family and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Hilda loved having her family around. She loved playing cards, especially skat, scratch tickets, music, dancing and over all having a good time. Her smile would brighten up a room and will forever be missed.
A special thank you to all those who were there and helped us during her illness and passing, especially nurses; Joanne Corcoran, Ashley Careen and all other doctors, nurses and staff of Eastern Health, to Gibbons’ Ambulance Service, her exceptional home care worker Joanne Bowen and to our parish priest Fr. Steve Courtney for all his prayers, visits and spiritual guidance. Cremation has taken place. A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later time.
Hilda will continue to live on in our lives forever.
