Passed away peacefully at his home, on Friday, January 31, 2020 at the age of 84 years. Beloved husband of the late Velma (Hoy) Voerman and the late Lynne (Thorne) Hawkins. Hank will be sadly missed by his son Mark Voerman (Claudia); his stepson Jeff Hawkins; his son-in-law Jim Ireland and by his grandson Matthew Voerman. Dear brother of Russell “Russ” Voerman (Carol) and Anne Draycott (Dave). He was predeceased by his daughter Shauna Ireland; his brother Tammo Voerman (Hellen survives) and by his sister Truusje Voerman.
A graveside service at Oakland Cemetery and celebration of Hank’s life will be planned for the spring with details to be announced at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the SPCA Leeds Grenville Branch or the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care would be gratefully acknowledged.
