Helen’s Obituary
Helen Elizabeth Johnson died Wednesday January 15, 2020 at her residence in East Cumberland Lodge, Pugwash. Born November 4, 1925 in Old Barns, and residing in the Truro area, she was the last surviving member of her family. She was predeceased by her husband Fred. Helen is survived by her children Bruce MacKenzie (Joyce) Westville, Brenda Archibald, Marshville; JoeAnne Raymond, Greenfield, Robert MacKenzie (Sheila) Mt. Thom and Howard MacKenzie (Tami) Valley, Her grandchildren Kevin Skidmore, Craig Skidmore, Jared MacKenzie, Jillian Hamilton, Megan Ward, Matthew MacKenzie, Trent MacKenzie, Scott Raymond. She was very proud of her great grandchildren, Lucas, Jaxon, Freya, Averie, and Clifford. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, her special nieces Denise MacLeod and Stacey Culgin as they shared a sense of humor, as well as Freds children, Freda, Beth and Joan, whose phone calls and visits were thoroughly enjoyed. Per Helen’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Mundle’s Funeral Home, Pugwash (902) 243-2506,. Burial of ashes at a later date in Crossroads Cemetery, Valley. Donations in memory can be made to a charity of your choice.
