H. Myra Fraser
H. Myra Fraser, 80, of Moncton,
passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Sunday, November 1,
2020.
Born in Moncton, she was the
daughter of the late Harris and Mildred (Murray) Fraser. Myra was
retired from the Purchasing Material Department with CNR, with 31
years’ service. She was a member of St. Philip’s
Anglican Church, an active member of the Moncton Girl Guides, having
received her 40 year pin and a member of the Trefoild Guild and was a
member of the Moncton Lions Seniors Centre. She enjoyed making cards,
singing, spending time at the family cottage in Bass River and
socializing with her friends, her family and especially her
grandchildren.
Myra will be sadly missed by her
children, Darlene Thorne (Shawn) and Sheri Manship (Scott), both of
Moncton; Brent (Lisa) of Riverview; precious grandchildren, Matt,
Rachel, Zach and Cole; cherished great grandson, Myles; brothers,
Sonny Fraser (Peggy) of Harcourt and Stuart Fraser of Moncton;
sisters, Barbara LeBlanc (Pat) of Ottawa, ON, Kathy Baiani of Moncton;
numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she
was predeceased by her husband, Warren P. Fraser (2006) and sister,
June Smith.
A private service to celebrate
and honor Myra’s life will be held from Fergusons Funeral
Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), with Rev. Rob
Salloum officiating. Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial
Gardens.
