88 years, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Leamington Mennonite Home. Beloved husband of Kathie (Kautmann). Dear father of Richard Zytner (Linda), Rosemary Pannunzio (Henry), Monika Kairouz. Loving Opi of Paul Pannunzio (Erica), Joseph Kairouz, Kaitlyn Pannunzio, Emily Zytner, Peter Zytner, Mia Kairouz. Dear brother of Eugenie Molzan (late Bob), Edward Zytner (late Kathie), Martha Federman (John) and brother-in-law of the late Elizabeth Hotz (late Andy), late Josef Kautmann (Clara). Dear nephew of Martha Firus (late Leopold). Gustav will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Gustav’s family wish to thank his CCAC caregivers, Elysia, Jun, and Deb, the Sun Parlour Home and the Leamington Mennonite Home. Gustav was retired from H.J. Heinz Co. after 37 years of service. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 14 Russell Street, Leamington on Friday 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Prayers Friday at 8 p.m. Funeral Service to celebrate Gustav’s life at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 311 Sherk Street, Leamington on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
