Obituary of Gunther Emil Luddeke
The peaceful passing of Gunther Emil Luddeke Sr., son of Emil A. Luddeke, Marie L. Friederike and maternal mother, Clara I. Hansen, occurred on November 18th, 2020 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.
He is survived by his 3 children, Lisa Halfyard (Shane), Gunther Luddeke Jr. (Angela) and Randolph Luddeke (Laurie). Gunther is also survived by his grandchildren, Shane Halfyard Jr. (Girlie), Emily Luddeke (Darren), Kyle Luddeke (Haley), Jillian Luddeke, Joshua Luddeke, Melissa Fitzgerlad, Andrea Fitzerglad, Cassandra McMorrow.
Gunther was born on January 9, 1933 in Celle, Germany and came to Canada at the age of 19, to work on a farm in Moncton. He later then moved to Fredericton where he worked towards opening his own automotive shop now known all over as Gunther’s repair and service. He dedicated his life to always making sure his customers had an affordable and reliable place to go, he was selfless man. He was loved by many and will be forever missed.
In addition to his parents, Gunther was predeceased by his loving wife, Molly Sabattis, and his two special friends Julie and Louise.
