Obituary
GUM JUN CHOW of Lethridge, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 15, 2020, at the age of 87 years.
Gum was born in Xinhui Shajiao, China and immigrated to Canada in 1957, where she
resided in Victoria, British Columbia, and met her late husband, Yau Hon in 1960. Gum and
Yau lived in Victoria, B.C. for 15 years, before moving to Lethbridge in 1975.
Gum is survived by her son, Michael (Sharon) of Lethbridge; daughter, Diane (Robert) of
Lethbridge; brother, Douglas of Victoria, B.C; grandchildren Jennifer; Christopher (Mary); Karen (Aaron); Kevin; and Debbie (Steven); great-granddaughters Raela and Brynlee.
Gum was predeceased by her husband, Yau (2008); father, Sher Bark Dang (1980); mother, Bo Tai Dang (2015); and daughter, Ena (1972).
Gum will always be remembered for her patience, kindness and dedication towards her
family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 10:00am and 11:30am, on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta.
A private family Interment will take place at Mountain View Cemetery.
