It is with saddened hearts the family of Gloria
(Bruce) Smith announces her passing on November 9, 2020 at
the age of 72.
Gloria was
well known in the Freshwater/Placentia area. She always had a
beautiful smile and a warm “Hello” to every single person
she met each and every day.
Gloria was a
kind and giving person and loved by all she knew. She was genuinely
gentle and caring. She handled life’s adversities with
grace, dignity, courage, patience, and tremendous strength. All of
this she did with an unwavering positive attitude which is an
inspiration to all who knew her.
She got a
lot of enjoyment knitting special things for family and friends
despite her arthritis. She had pride and joy for her 2 children, 2
grandchildren, and all the nieces and nephews. She always provided
support and positivity for those around her. She will be greatly
missed by her husband, children, siblings and
friends.
Special
thanks to all those who made Gloria’s life a little easier
these past years.
There will
be no service or visitation. In lieu of
flowers, a donation to the arthritis society is
welcome.
