Gloria Agnes Frey (Boyce)
Frey, Gloria Agnes [nee Boyce] – It is with sorrow that we announce the death of Gloria Agnes Frey of Haileybury, on April 16, 2020. She passed suddenly and peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre with her son Steven by her side as well as her daughters on video phone during her final moments.
Gloria is predeceased by her husband John ‘Jack’, her son Frederick Anthony, her daughter Joyce Agnes, her sisters Wilda, Sister Mary Bernard (Lorraine) and Orleana. She leaves behind her children Janice, Carla [Gary], Steven [Tammy] as well as her grandchildren Erin, Holly, Brent, Lisa, Jenny and her three great-grandchildren Lucas, Michael and Jessica and many nieces and nephews.
Gloria was active and vital to the end. She played bridge at the Cobalt Golden Age Club, St John and St Paul Anglican Parish and with a group of friends on Mondays. She continued her life long love of Ballroom dancing which she taught for over 60 years. Her love of travel took her on cruises and trips to Europe, Africa and the Bahamas. Her dedication to her son Frederick lasted until his death.
A memorial mass and celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date on our website. Donations can be made to Temiskaming Community Living. Condolences and contributions may be left at www.buffamleveille.com.
