George dearly loved his family and was happiest when the house was full. Many late nights were spent sitting at the kitchen table with family and friends listening to him tell stories of days gone by and jokes that made them laugh until they cried. He liked celebrating all of life’s adventures with those he loved. He enjoyed history, hunting, fishing and was an avid reader. His strength and courage were that of a bear and he faced every hardship with a wonderful sense of humour. George’s witty intelligence and kindness left a mark on the hearts of all who knew him. He will be remembered and missed until end of days.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to community health nurse, Kim West, who took wonderful care of George and responded tirelessly to all his family’s questions and concerns.
Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will get together at a later date to celebrate his life.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home. “ We listen, We learn, We walk with you.”
