It is with heavy hearts that the family of George Schreyer announce his peaceful passing on May 26th at the age of 84 after a lengthy illness.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife Carol of 61 years and his four sons Ken (Tammy), Wayne (Kathy), Randy (Debbie), Ray (Gwenda) and grandchildren Brittany (Zach), Ryan (Katty), Daniel (Amanda), Kelley (Aaron) and great grandchildren Gemma and Everett as well as his sisters Lilly (Bob), Dorothy, and brother Richard (Mary). George was predeceased by his sister Clara and brothers Ed, Robert and Leonard.
Dad took over the family dairy farm in the Dugald area and farmed for 46 years later retiring in Oakbank. George and Carol enjoyed many years together travelling to many places including Arizona for many winters.
Due to Covid-19 a private family service will be held.
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to Kin Place in Oakbank.
