Passed away peacefully at Mackenzie Health, Richmond Hill, on Sunday, October 4, 2020, George Michael Vassallo, beloved husband for 62 years of Theresa-Marie Dillon. Loving father of Joseph and his wife Brenda, Mary-Kathryn and her husband Don, Christopher and his wife Jennifer, and Nancy. Cherished grandfather of Andrew (Alex), Elyssa, Justin, Madeline, Kathryn, and Sarah. Dear brother of Joe (deceased) (Carm), Laurie (deceased) (Pat), Mary (Nick) (both deceased), Lillian (Jim) (both deceased), Phyllis (Walter) (both deceased), Janet (Kal) Perala, Veronica Confalone (Anthony, deceased). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and friends. George was a member of the Knights of Columbus for over 60 years.
Due to the global pandemic, a private Funeral Mass by invitation only will be held in St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 190 Mactaggart Drive, Nobleton, on Saturday, October 10.
