William Dale George of Kettle Point passed away peacefully on Monday, July 27, 2020, at Bluewater Health in Sarnia at the age of 66.
Lovingly known as Pup, Billy, Big Bill, or even Bill cubed, Pup was the gentle artist who adored his wife Marlene and children, Little Eagle (Jody), Starr (2001), Little Wolfe (Chris), Sarah Rose and Bill Jr. (Megan). Pup was thrilled to see his family grow with the additions of Lucas, Ted, Shaina, Faith, Autumn, Megan, Elizabeth, Trinity, Tia, Billy III, Timmy, Bennett, Simon, and the latest precious addition to arrive only days before Pup’s passing, Terron-Starr.
Billy’s family pride began with his own upbringing, raised with his brothers, Stephen Wolfe (Jennifer), Gregory George (Barbara) Michele Bressette (Bernard-2013), Ruth Ann Bressette (Ted) and Wilma Wolfe. Billy is predeceased by his Parents Madeline & Thomas George and his brother Timothy. Billy will be deeply missed by his many in-laws, extended family, neighbours, and friends.
A talented and renowned native artist, Billy’s work can be found circulating far and wide, from local murals at Hillside School and the Forest Health Centre, to Sarnia, Wallpool Island and beyond. Billy’s work was inspired by his love of painting, in many ways, a therapy for him as he gave vision to the wildlife around him. Often pulling from his favourite blue palet, Billy somehow always managed to paint the perfect combination of vibrant colours, despite being colour blind.
Family and friends continue to remember and celebrate Billy’s life, a life of caring, kindness, and above all, a family man. Details to follow.
