Gary’s Obituary
NEW GLASGOW – Gary Joyce Rudolph, 69, High Crest Place, New Glasgow, formerly of Tatamagouche and River John, passed away peacefully, Friday, September 25, 2020 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in River John, he was a son of the late Earl Joyce and Lenora Belle (Dunham) Rudolph. In earlier years, Gary was employed as pulp cutter, in sawmills and as a painter with Straight-MacKay, Pictou. Prior to retirement, due to workplace injury, Gary was employed with the former Intertape Polymer Group Inc., Truro. He was a member of First United Baptist Church, New Glasgow. In younger years, Gary enjoyed working on cars and shared many adventures with his pals. He enjoyed fishing and watching detective shows on TV. For Gary, “life has changed; not ended!”
Surviving are his brother, John (Rose) Rudolph, New Glasgow; niece, Becci Rudolph, New Glasgow; nephew, Grant Rudolph, Pictou; grandniece, Alisha Rudolph, New Glasgow; grandnephew, Stefin Rudolph (Leah), New Glasgow; great-niece, Kiera Rudolph; uncles, Victor (Margaret) Dunham, Calgary, Alta; Arthur Belong, Pictou; many cousins.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by infant brother, Wayne; aunt, Geraldine Belong.
A public graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 29, 2020 in Cape John Road Anglican Cemetery, River John with Rev. John Dunnett officiating.
