HARMON, Garnet Lloyd
Garnet passed away peacefully on his farm on Wednesday, March 18, 2020. He was born on July 14, 1934 to Vern and May Harmon. He was raised on a farm near St. Brieux, SK and moved to Saskatoon at the age of 18 years. He married Margaret Papp in 1956 and raised a family, having four children. Garnet loved to spend time at the farm, especially when the kids could make it out. Garnet is survived by his partner Eileen, who shared many years of love and companionship. He is also survived by his children Kirby Harmon, Larry Harmon and Holly Pfeifer, grandchildren Candace (Richard) Moehler, Clint (Elena) Harmon, Lynn Harmon (Ceasar), Mitchel Harmon, Chelsey (Chris) MacLean, Taylor (Kurstin) Pfeifer, Ashley (Blaine) Caines, Neil (Devin) Harmon, Dustin Harmon, great-grandchildren Zach & Taryn Moehler, Joshua, Jacob & Hannah Harmon, Shelby & Hailey Harmon, Clay, Reese & Kemper Harmon, Tiana Cux, Callie, Violet and Poppy MacLean, and Huxley & Alora Caines, siblings Earl (Theresa), Harold (Linda), Verna, Dorothy, Irma (Pete) and in-laws Ruth and Donna. He was predeceased by his parents, son Vern Harmon, who he deeply missed, and siblings Robert, Mervin, Mary (Steve) and in-laws Sally and Pete. We were extremely blessed to have Garnet’s 85th birthday at the farm with over 100 family members that were able to attend. He will be missed by so many more that we cannot even mention. A Private Family Gathering will be held at a later date. Arrangements in care of Aimé Laventure – Mourning Glory Funeral Services.
