Frank W. Burns
1940-2020
It is with sadness we announce the
passing of Frank Wilson Burns, age 79, of Amherst, NS. Frank
passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 16, 2020 in the Cumberland
Regional Health Care Centre.
Born in Shinimicas, NS, he was the son
of the late Raymond and Isabelle (Fraser) Burns.
He is survived by his wife Betty,
Amherst; sons Robert, Ontario and Raymond, Halifax, NS; step-children,
Tom (Sheila Lake) Chappell, Tidnish Bridge, NS, Tony (Debbie)
Chappell, Fenwick, NS and Jackie Lines, Amherst, NS; sister-in-law
Shirley Burns, Trail, BC.
He was predeceased by his brother Kenny
Burns and Wally Burns.
Frank was a kind and loving man who will
be missed dearly by his wife Betty and his
step-children.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the
Jones Family Funeral Centre, 70 Church St., Amherst, NS (902-667-8777)
where cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation
or service.
Donations in memory of Frank may be made
to the charity of the donor’s choice.
