With the heaviest hearts, we announce the passing of Floyd McCormack, suddenly on Friday, August 28, 2020 with his beloved wife and children by his side. Floyd fought a courageous and fearless battle, winning every fight but ultimately losing the war to pulmonary fibrosis.
Floyd will be lovingly remembered by so many but especially his wife Mildred, son Tyson, his dog Rielly, daughter Sarah, her husband Jason and his two favorite people in the world, his grandsons Cohen and Abel. Floyd will also be forever remembered by so many nieces and nephews and cherished friends who have become family over the years.
Survived by John, Frank and June, Sheldon and Anna Marie, and Stanley and Nora McCormack, extended family Anita Baker, Charlotte and Bryne Henderson, Virginia and Paul Cheverie, Winston and Donna Baker, and Carl and Shelley Baker. Predeceased by parents Alphonsus and Bertha McCormack, father-in-law Lyman Baker and his siblings Arnold McCormac, Eldon McCormack and Marion Wilson.
Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home where visiting hours will take place for immediate family and invited guests only. A celebration of life in memory of Floyd will be held at a later date. If so desired, donations made to the Souris Minor Hockey Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.
