Obituary
With heavy hearts, the family of Florence Stewart announces her passing, which occurred at her home on March 20th, 2020. Florence was born in Saint John on January 24th, 1937; a daughter of the late David and Olive (Hamilton) McKellar, and the loving wife of the late Peter Stewart. She is survived by her children; Kathy, Tim, Karen (Barry) and Patty (Darrell), step-son George, siblings David (Donna), Joan (Norbert), Kathleen, Ruth, Jean (Kenny), Joyce, Mary (Alban), William (Margaret) and John (Yvonne), grandchildren; Kim, Jake, Kayla, Nathan, Aaron, and John; great-grandchildren Thatcher, Ivy, Ella, Allison, Willow, Hunter, Hadyn, Paige, and Parker. Along with her parents, Florence was pre-deceased by her sisters Elizabeth and Grace, and a brother, George. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John. There will be no visitation or funeral service; interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date.
