Fernando Martins
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our
beloved husband, father, and Avô, on November 30th 2020 at
the age of 73. He spent his final days surrounded by the love and care
of his family with his devoted wife Maria José of 50 years
by his side. He will be dearly missed by his children, Carlos
(Jessica), Sandy (Phil), Debbie, and Kevin. A proud grandfather, his
memory will be cherished by Sierra, Ethan, Daniel, Oliver, James, Elle
and Nikita. A heartfelt thanks goes out to the palliative
health team for all their support throughout this difficult
time.
Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge,
where the family will receive friends on Thursday December 3, 2020
from 5-9p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ambrose Roman
Catholic Church., Cambridge on Friday December 4, 2020 at 11a.m
Interment to follow at Parklawn Cemetery. Provincial Guidelines are in
place for social distancing and Masks are mandatory for each person in
attendance. To reserve your 15 minutes to meet with the
family at the Funeral Home or attend the Funeral Mass (Space is
limited), please call the Funeral Home at 519-740-0669 between 9 am
and 4:30 pm to register your name and phone number. In lieu
of flowers, donations to Lisaard House would be appreciated by the
family.
