1929-2020
Callison, (Otterson), Fannie Mae, 91, North River, Col. Co.,
passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020 in the Cumberland Regional Health
Care Centre, Amherst, NS. Born in Truro, she was the daughter of the
late Frederick and Edna (McLaughlin) McCallum. Fannie was a very
artistic lady, and was a great seamstress in her younger years. She
had a great love for animals, enjoyed feeding the birds and loved
flower gardens. She was a woman with strong faith in her
Lord.
She is survived by her daughter, Joy Cameron, Truro (Michael
Cameron, Charlottetown, PE ); sons, Robert Otterson (Emily), Onslow
Mountain, Randy Otterson (Anne), West North River Road; grandchildren,
Andrew, Sean, Jonas, Matthew.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband
Deane Otterson; son-in-law, Paul Collier; several brothers and
sisters.
No visitation by family request. A private family graveside
service will take place at a later date in the Belmont Cemetery,
Belmont. Arrangements are under the direction of the
Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. Donations in
memory may be made to the Colchester Food Bank or to the Colchester
