Peacefully surrounded by his family at the Roger Nielsen House in Ottawa on Tuesday, October 27th, 2020. Evan Alexander Fontaine of Cornwall, age 12 years, was the beloved son of Christopher “Chris” and Christine Fontaine (nee Derochie). His love of video games, all things green and quirky sense of humor will forever be cherished in the hearts his siblings; Marie-Jeanne of Edmonton, and Sean and Jack of Cornwall. His strong will, determination and courage will be fondly remembered by his grandparents; Ronald and Muriel Derochie (nee Brisebois) and Richard and Donna Gail Fontaine (nee Ladouceur) And Great Grandmother Theresa Brisebois (nee Leblanc) He will also be missed be many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and dear friends. A visitation with controlled attendance will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home 822 Pitt St., Cornwall (613-938-3888) on Thursday November 5, 2020 from 6pm-9pm. A private Funeral Service will be held at a later date. Masks and social distancing will be mandatory inside the Funeral Home at all times. In tribute to Evan’s resiliency, courage and spirit, Memorial Donations to the Roger Nielson House and/or Cystic Fibrosis Canada, would be appreciated by the family.
