Ernest Watson Budden bid a quick farewell to all the aches and pains of this world on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at the Palliative Care Unit in Corner Brook in his 103rd year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Rubie Reynolds, Bessie (Reginald) Roberts, Norman (Linda) Budden, Gerald (Sharon) Budden, Marie (Bernard) Morrissey and Patricia (Eric) Morrissey; son-in-law Don Wyszynski; daughters-in-law Lila Campbell and Jeanette Budden; 32 grandchildren, 88 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his loving wife Ethelyn Budden, daughter Elizabeth Wyszynski, sons William Budden and Robert Budden, parents Stanley and Martha Budden, sons-in-law Allan Puddester and James Reynolds, grandson Lorne Puddester, great-grandson Robert Allan Puddester, grandson-in-law Raymond Hogan, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Due to Covid-19 Government Restrictions A private family funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 7 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethel United Community Church in Sop’s Arm with interment to follow at Bethel Community Cemetery.
