Ernest Keith Rix
1943-2020
Suddenly in his 77th year as a result
of a motor vehicle accident on June 19, 2020 in Ottawa, Ontario of
Ernest Keith Rix of Ottawa and formerly of Elmsdale, PEI. Born in
Elmsdale on August 12, 1943 son of the late J. Fraser and Goldie M.
(Wall) Rix. Brother of Sybil Humphries of Summerside, John (Edna) Rix
of Mount Herbert and Verna Rix of Summerside. Brother-in-law of
Carmelita Rix of Kensington. Also, survived by many nieces, nephews
and cousins, his aunt Louis Brown, Kensington and uncle James Wall,
Hamilton. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his brother Wayne
Rix of Kensington and infant brother at birth and his brother-in-law
Robert Humphries, Darnley.
There will be no visitation or funeral service by personal
request. A private family burial will take place later in the Malpeque
People’s Cemetery. If so desired contributions may be made
to People’s Cemetery Malpeque.
