Geddes, Erma May, born Aug 16th 1937 of Woodside Dartmouth Nova Scotia, passed away peacefully in her sleep with family by her side on February 1st 2020 at Oceanview continuing care in Eastern Passage NS.
Erma, daughter of John and Alfreda Zwicker, deceased (spouse Gerald Geddes of Dean Settlement, Upper Musquodoboit, deceased)
She is survived by her four children John Geddes(Krista Cornish) Ellershouse NS, Eddie Geddes of Dartmouth NS, Lynn Geddes Coakley (Sid Coakley) of Dartmouth NS & Dawn Geddes Harley of Dartmouth NS (Donald Harley of Port Alberni BC, deceased) 4 grandchildren, Sidney (Emily), & Krystal Coakley, Amanda & Samantha Geddes all from Dartmouth NS, 7 beautiful great grandchildren who she loved with all of her heart. And so many others that she loved over the years as if they were her own.
Erma love to cook, an avid crafter, which included sewing, crocheting, knitting, pretty much anything crafty, she’s done it.
She was proudly the first woman in Nova Scotia to hold a driver instructors license. She was a stay-at-home mother and also for many years, managed our home based Driver Training business.
She was loved by many throughout her life and will be missed by all.
She is now in peace, an Angel reunited with her loved ones.
