Obituary of Ephraim Meade
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ephraim Meade announces his passing on Sunday, October 11, 2020, at the Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre at the age of 81 with his loving family by his side. Born in Grey River he was the son of the late Robert and Maryann (Young) Meade. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 59 years, Gladys (Osmond), his children, Zena (Doug Fleck) Collier, Dwayne Meade, Ephraim Meade Jr and Brenda King (Ryan Ballard), grandchildren, Richard, Jonathon and Dennis Collier, Kody, Chelsea and Angie King, sisters, Harriett, Elise and Catherine, brothers and sisters in laws, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends. Ephraim was predeceased by his daughters, Mary-Ann and Kimberly-Ann brothers, Charlie and Tom Meade, sisters, Olive, Sarah, Francis and Georgina. In keeping with Ephraim’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A private family memorial service will be held. Interment to follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barchois Hill. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
