Emily Elizabeth Powers
Emily E. Powers, 93, of McNair
Manor, Riverview, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday,
April 19, 2020.
Born in Summerside, PEI, she
was the daughter of the late Henry and Emily (Arsenault)
Gallant.
Emily was a loving wife,
mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed baking and
spending time with her family and friends.
Emily will be sadly missed by
her children, Robert (Muriel) of Moncton, Carol Weatherby (Paul) of
New Hamburg, ON, Ed (Christine) of Shediac, John (Linda) of Riverview,
Cathy Powers (Barrie Groves) and Sue Powers, both of Moncton;
grandchildren, Mike, Jennifer, Stephanie, Jolene, Christopher, Mark,
Mike and Matthew, as well as several; great grandchildren and several
nieces, nephews and extended family
members.
In addition to her parents,
she was predeceased by her husband, Anthony “Tony” Powers
(2005) and brother, Edwin Gallant (2004).
A
funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church on
Thursday, August 27, 2020 at 11:00 am. Social distancing must be
respected at all times due to the current COVID 19 restrictions and
masks are recommended. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary
Cemetery.

arrangements.
