It is with sadness that the family of the late Elsie Austin (nee Short), age 92, announces her passing on Friday, February 21, 2020 from the Valley Vista Senior Citizens Complex, Springdale.
She is predeceased by her husband Bramwell Austin; 1st husband Douglas Roberts; parents Henry and Pearl Short; brothers Malcolm Short, Raymond Short, Norman Short, Sydney Short, Willie Short; sisters Alice Kelly, Laura Young.
Elsie leaves to mourn, her stepdaughter Daphne Budgell; stepson Richard Austin; step-grandchildren Dennis Austin, Mark (Jennifer) Austin, Morgan Budgell (Shakara Coates), Alyssa Brace; step-great-grandchildren Joshua Sampson, Liam Sampson, Brooke Austin; sisters Doris Slade, Effie Burton, Marjorie (Lloyd) Wiseman, Bessie Reid, Donetta (Joe) Croucher, Thelma (Otto) Wiseman, Florence (Ron) Young; brothers Ambrose (Gladys) Short, Clarence (Wanda) Short; she had many nieces and nephews – they were all very special to her, as well as many other relatives and friends. Elsie will be truly missed by all who knew her, she will never be forgotten, and her memory will stay alive within the hearts of her family and friends.
