78 years
Died peacefully after a short battle with cancer on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.
Beloved wife of 56 years to James “Jim” Fava. Loving mother of Patti Birk (Warren), Lorrie Fava, Steve Fava (Marian McGuire) and Brian Fava (Nadia). Cherished grandmother of Mallory (Nick), Veronica, Samuel, Clare, Joey, Marissa, Nick and great granddaughter Lyla. Dear daughter of Daniel and Catherine (White) Malloy both predeceased. Dear sister of Teresa Rivard (Phillip), Patrick Malloy and her twin sister Kathleen Gosselin (Arthur) all predeceased. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, her sister-in-law Therese and her newly found Irish first cousin Ann McBurney and her children Seamus and Sarah. Eileen was born in Kirkland Lake and was a proud graduate of St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in North Bay, Class of ’63. She enjoyed curling and was an active parishioner at Lord of the World and Holy Redeemer.

Memorial Mass at
Holy Redeemer Church
1887 Bancroft Dr., Sudbury
Saturday, October 31st, 2020 at 10am.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Holy Redeemer Food Bank or the Maison McCulloch Hospice would be appreciated.
Due to the COVID-19 directives, 50 people or less in the visitation room. Facemasks are mandatory at the funeral home and the church with social distancing.
