It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Eddie Williams at the age of 92 years. He was surrounded by loving family members during his short illness.
Predeceased by his infant son Paul; parents Walter and Francis Williams; parents-in-law John and Kathleen Barron; sisters Marjorie Myers (Jack) and Mavis Madden; brothers Leonard (Mary), Richard Williams and daughter-in-law Judy Doyle.
Leaving to mourn his wife of 61 years and devoted caregiver Genevieve (nee Barron) Williams; only daughter Michelle (Cliff) Hayden; sons Wayne (Pam) and Shane (Virginia) Williams; his cherished grandchildren Matthew, Evan, Kelsey, Kate, Emily, Robin and Brent; sister Millie (Danny) Chafe; brothers Perry (Georgina) and Max (Philomena) Williams; brother and sisters-in-law Jim (Marie) Barron, Anne (Frank deceased) and Margaret (Joseph (deceased) Vilimaitis; special niece Cathy Williams, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Sunday from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. and on Monday from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Funeral to take place at St. Kevin’s Church, Goulds on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at 10 a.m. with cremation to follow.
Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Eddie’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
A gentleman to the end. May he rest in peace.
