Edward Joseph Pardy
March 03, 1953 – January 27, 2020
Edward Joseph Pardy 66; of Williamswood NS passed away on January 27th after a courageous battle with cancer. He was proudly raised in Badger NL by his parents the late Ivy (Penney) and Daniel Pardy. Later in life he was blessed to have met and formed a relationship with his biological mother the late Robina (Head) Kelly. Ed is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years Connie (Reeves), daughters Tiffany Pardy (Glen Smith), Halifax, and Cheryl (Justin) Sampson, Cole Harbour, cherished grandkids Hailey Sampson and Camden Smith. He is also survived by siblings Cameron (Bev Hender) Kelly, Pauline (John) Frankes, Laurie (Joanne) Kelly, Beverley (Rick) Granter, Kimberley (Edward) Koole, Robin (Dawnise) Kelly and Averill Kelly (Kenny Sahadeo).
Ed retired a couple of years ago from a 30+ year career in Industrial Sales with Irving. He was an avid New York Rangers and car racing fan (local racing & Nascar) Ed also enjoyed camping, wildlife, fishing, gardening, painting, and woodworking. He brought much joy and laughter wherever he went. Ed devoted his life to his Lord Jesus Christ. He was a member of Rock Church, Lwr Sackville, for over 33 years and was honored to be a servant leader during his time there. His friendship will be missed by many.
There will be a celebration of his life on Thursday, January 30th 11am at Rock Church (222 Sackville Dr. Lwr Sackville). In lieu of visitation, there will be a reception following the service. Family interment to follow reception. Family flowers only. Donations to honour Ed’s life can be made to Rock Church Missions (rockchurch.ca/give), please note “missions donation” in memo field. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Dartmouth Funeral Home Ltd. (dartmouthfuneralhome.ca) where online condolences may be made.
