On May 27, 2020, Mr. Eddie Hassan of St. Paul passed away at the age of 83 years. Ed played many levels hockey and often traveled out of country for hockey tournaments. He was the last of the original juvenile Chevrolet organization that evolved into the Jr B franchise in St. Paul. Ed was recently recognized by the St. Paul Jr B alumni with a keepsake jersey. He spent many hours in the arena watching Mark, then Jamie & Blake, then Caydence & Paige play hockey. He rarely missed attending his kids, grandkids & great-grandkids activities. His happiest moments were spending time with his family camping, hunting & fishing. He also enjoyed bugging his grandkids & great-grandkids with every visit. He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 60 years, Dianne; daughter, Lisa (Brian) Martin; son, Mark (Shaina); 4 grandchildren, Pam (Troy) Bohn, Jamie (Courtney), Martin, Miranda (Kevin) & Blake; 5 great-grandchildren, Caydence & Paige Bohn, Emmitt, Caleb & Sophie Martin; brother, Jack (Tess); sister, Thelma Litwinovich; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Sam & Alphonsine; brothers, Sam, Jerry & Louis. A Private Celebration of Life will be held at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul.
