It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Popsi at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Arlene (Cartier). Cherished Dad of Keith Cameron, Connie (Rick Bellehumeur) Cadarette, Sherry (Jacques Boutin) Cadarette , Rhonda Cadarette. Cherished grandpa of Ben, Nick, Danica, Ronnie, Laura, Nina, Dawn Marie, Angela, Mellissa and Amanda. He was a “special father” to Suzanne (John) MacEachern “grandfather” to Cameron, Savannah and Shyanne. Son of the late Robertson and Elizabeth Merle (Andrews) Cameron. Dearest brother of Shirley (Gerry) Lucas, Brother-in-law of Elaine (Ted) Lessard, Betty Durocher, Frank Cartier, (late) Judy Couture, Jimmy (Charlene) Cartier, Carol (late Denis) Dunn, Lorna Cartier, Norman (Sally) Cartier, Lorraine (Skip) Cartier, (late) Ricky (Rene) Cartier. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was totally devoted to the children in his life. Popsi had a love of racing that he passed on to future generations, as he raced himself at a young age. He enjoyed being at any race track or hockey arena watching and supporting those he loved. He will be greatly missed by many as he touched so many lives throughout his years. Cremation has taken place and a private memorial celebration will be held at a future date.
